We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with children, youth, families, educators, and healthcare professionals to provide assessment, intervention, consultation, and support in a variety of settings, including our clinics, homes, childcare centres, schools, and community locations.

What You'll Do

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at KidsInclusive, you will:

Clinical Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing assessments using standardized and non-standardized measures.
- Review referral information, developmental and medical histories, and collaborate with families and care providers to develop individualized care plans.
- Develop treatment goals and provide evidence-based intervention services to children and youth with a wide range of developmental and physical disabilities.
- Deliver services individually, in groups, and as part of multidisciplinary assessments and treatment programs.
- Monitor client progress, evaluate outcomes, and modify treatment plans as required.
- Communicate assessment findings, recommendations, and progress updates to families and community partners.
- Collaborate with schools, childcare centres, healthcare providers, and community agencies to support client success across environments.
- Supervise and support therapy assistants involved in delivering treatment programs.
- For clinicians working in Augmentative Communication Services (ACS), complete assistive device assessments and documentation in accordance with Assistive Devices Program (ADP) requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with CASLPO standards and KHSC/KidsInclusive policies.





Professional & Administrative Responsibilities

- Document clinical activities and workload in AlayaCare.
- Participate in team meetings, discipline-specific meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor new team members and contribute to student education and fieldwork supervision.
- Maintain professional competency through continuing education and ongoing learning.
- Support equipment and supply management and contribute to program development initiatives.
- Complete mandatory organizational learning and education requirements.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
- Current registration and membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Minimum two years of recent experience in a Children's Treatment Centre; consideration may be given to candidates with comparable pediatric rehabilitation experience.
- Experience assessing and treating children with a wide range of physical, developmental, and communication disabilities.
- Experience working with children and youth with complex needs and their families.
- Experience delivering services in community-based settings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the Healthcare Provider level.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Proven ability to attend work regularly.

Preferred Qualifications

- Continuing education relevant to pediatric rehabilitation practice.
- Experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), feeding, developmental pediatrics, or related specialty areas.
- Bilingualism (English/French)
