Urban Life Solutions and City Wide Towing are hiring a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Calgary team! In this role, you’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment, including tow trucks, loaders, skid steers, tractors, trailers, and snow removal machinery. Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment and different types of tow trucks
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Respond to breakdowns and complete field repairs when needed
- Work with the supply team to order and manage parts
- Maintain accurate work orders and repair logs online
- Operate lifting devices, winches, and hydrostatic tools safely
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety policies

Required Qualifications:

- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician - Alberta or Red Seal
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Own set of tools
- Ability to read work orders and technical manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Self-motivated and team oriented
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:





- Hydraulic and diesel diagnostic experience
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems
- First Aid certification
- Experience with tow trucks, snow equipment, and construction machinery

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
