We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined Laminating Machine Operator to join the plastic card manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain laminating equipment used in the production of PVC and composite plastic cards while ensuring finished products meet quality and customer specifications.

Position Details

Job Title: Laminating Machine Operator
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: CA$20.00 – CA$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: In person

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and monitor laminating machines used for plastic card production
- Load and accurately align PVC sheets, overlays, and laminates
- Adjust machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times
- Inspect laminated sheets for defects such as bubbles, delamination, and misalignment
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laminating equipment
- Record production data and maintain accurate job documentation
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and production schedules
- Work closely with production supervisors and quality control teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow written work orders and production instructions

Qualifications





- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience operating laminating or similar industrial machinery preferred
- Experience in plastic card manufacturing, printing, or plastics processing is considered an asset
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and follow work orders and written instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to the required workplace limit
- Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as required

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Knowledge of PVC, PET, or composite card materials
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards or clean manufacturing environments
- Basic computer skills for production tracking
- Experience operating hot press or roll laminating machines
