Job Summary

TACNIC Security Services is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Security Guards to join our growing team.

As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in protecting people, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service. Our officers are expected to maintain a visible security presence, respond to incidents professionally, complete accurate documentation, and represent TACNIC Security Services with integrity and professionalism.

We are looking for individuals who are observant, reliable, and committed to creating safe environments through communication, vigilance, and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of assigned properties.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.
- Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports accurately and professionally.
- Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Enforce client policies and authorized trespass procedures.
- Work closely with emergency services, property management, and client representatives when required.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a safe,



secure, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

- A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A clean and professional appearance.
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset.
- Previous security experience is an asset but not required.
