Duties

- Lead the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth functioning and high standards of customer service
- Supervise and motivate staff, including recruiting, training, coaching, and developing team members to reach their full potential
- Manage merchandising activities to optimize product placement, pricing strategies, and inventory levels for maximum sales impact
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and sales transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain loyal clients
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment

Requirements





- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership skills in supervising teams
- Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (French and English) environments; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and retail sales techniques
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, payroll processing, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and budgeting
- Ability to recruit, train, develop staff through effective coaching and performance management
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, marketing initiatives, and time management
- A proactive attitude with solid interpersonal skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
