Emergency Management & Community Safety (EMCS) is currently recruiting for two Coordinator positions within the Court and CPIC areas of operational administrative support. In these roles, you will work closely with internal and external partners to support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, employee development, and effective cross-functional coordination.

As a Coordinator of CPIC, you will be primarily responsible for providing leadership to the CPIC Operators, CPIC system oversight, RCMP Policy compliance, CPIC certification and access, and 24/7 operational continuity.

As a Coordinator of Court, you will be primarily responsible for providing leadership to Court & CPIC Services Liaisons (CCSLs), court administration, judicial compliance, disclosure and warrant workflows, court document processing, and coordination with court-related partners.

Primary duties include:

- Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching,



work assignment, and performance management activities.
- Review team performance and provide informed feedback to support continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Oversee scheduling functions, including managing shift assignments and time-off requests, and overtime callouts to maintain critical staffing levels.
- Coordinate CPIC queries and court administration activities with EMCS Peace Officers while monitoring judicial compliance and ensuring timely processing.
- Support the daily delivery of CPIC and court services across EMCS, including reporting, charges, disclosure requests, warrant dispositions, case management, and offender-related processes.
- Perform quality assurance on work completed by CCSLs and CPIC Operators to maintain accuracy, consistency, and legal compliance.

Qualifications

- A High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC)) with at least 8 years of related experience in court administration including CPIC maintenance experience; OR
- A completed 2-year diploma in legal or judicial system administration or a related field with at least 6 years of related experience in court administration including CPIC maintenance experience.
- A completed 1 week CPIC Maintenance Certificate is required. A completed CPIC Query Narrative Certificate is considered an asset.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.




- Proficiency working within legislative requirements of the EMCS 41 enforceable Municipal Bylaws, 14 Provincial Statutes, the Criminal Code of Canada and the Peace Officer Code of Conduct and Ministerial Regulation is required.
- An understanding of case flow management, court systems and procedures is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Chameleon, and Advanced Projects Information System (APIS) is an asset. Justice Online Information Network (JOIN) and previous experience in legislative interpretation is also considered an asset.
- Previous Community Peace Officer (CPO) - Level 1 designation would be considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires exceptional time management abilities with a high degree of attention to detail in prioritizing time sensitive assignments, effective communications skills, excellent tact, diplomacy, professionalism, and the ability to deal with difficult sensitive information and demanding situations.

Working Conditions: These positions operate within a 24/7 office environment and are required to be on a rotational on-call status for standby to address urgent operational issues outside regular business hours.

Pre-employment Requirements

- An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
- RCMP fingerprint based security clearance will be conducted.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.

Position and Pay Information

- Business Unit: Emergency Management & Community Safety
- Union: Exempt
- Position Type: 2 Permanent
- Compensation: Level A1 $100,531 - 125,664 per annum
- Hours of work: Non-Standard 35 hour work week
- Days of work: This position works a 4-day work week. Mon - Thurs or Tues - Fri, schedules alternating bi-annually.
