LIVunLtd currently has an opening for a Fitness Program Coordinator in Downtown Calgary. We are searching for a dynamic leader to be part of our qualified fitness & wellness team, who has the talent and desire to offer exemplary care and customer service to our corporate members, guests and staff.

Shift will be 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday-Friday

Job Description:
This is a salaried full-time (37.5 hour/week) career position with health benefits plan.

- Exercise Floor Supervision: assist with supervising the strength, cardio and stretching areas to ensure that members are exercising safely and effectively.
- Customer Service: greet and engage with members, process new member applications, conduct orientations and fitness consultations/assessments.
- Facility: assist with equipment maintenance, cleaning, administration.
- Member incentive Program: Lead the member incentive programming initiatives, including fitness consults, Lunch and Learns, fitness challenges, special events, etc.
- Group Fitness Program: Manage Group Fitness programming, including scheduling, staffing and budgeting. Teach 1 class as part of your salary with supplemental classes as additional earnings with appropriate certification.




- Personal Training: Manage personal training program, including appropriate hiring to meet needs of facility demand. Conduct personal training sessions outside of scheduled work hours.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology or other exercise science degree.
- Current Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (CSEP-CEP, CSEP-CPT or similar).
- Current Nationally recognized Group Exercise Certification (Fitness Alberta, CanFitPro, Yoga Alliance or similar)
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR
- A proven track record of delivering exceptional Customer Service.
- Enthusiastic and professional manner, suitable to a corporate fitness environment!
