Job description:

We are a restaurant in the vibrant heart of Leaside, and we’re looking for enthusiastic and hospitality-driven servers to join our Front of House team.

Set in a beautiful, bespoke space, our restaurant offers a warm and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Our menu is elevated yet approachable, inspired by French culinary roots with various influences, designed for sharing and relaxed, family-style dining. We also house a Golf Simulator in a dedicated full-service lounge.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new concept, helping shape the culture and guest experience within the local community.

What you will do:

- Greet customers and help them settle in
- Share any specials and answer any menu-related questions
- Take food and drink orders quickly and accurately
- Learn the food and drink menu(s), understand the dishes, ingredients, be an expert on our products and offerings
- Deliver meals and drinks with a focus on promptness and presentation
- Assist with table setup, opening duties, cleaning as required, closing duties
- Keep service stations and guest areas clean, organised, and welcoming
- Up-sell and make recommendations based on guest preferences (strong wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge is a plus)




- Handle cash and card transactions accurately through the POS system (TouchBistro); perform EoD shift report duties
- Collaborate and communicate clearly with the GM, FoH and BoH teams to ensure smooth and seamless service
- Recognize customers needs and exhibit a hospitality-centric mindset
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations

What you need:

- Smart Serve certification (required)
- Previous restaurant serving experience is required
- Impeccable communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and decorum
- Positive, team-player attitude
- A proactive mindset
- Availability for days/evenings, weekends, on short notice, and holidays as necessary
