Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will manage the entirety of the blister pack responsibilities in the pharmacy

Responsibilities

- Verify patient information, prescriptions, and medication orders for correctness
- Independently manage the full blister packaging cycle: order entry, cycle fill scheduling, packing, refills, verification, and delivery coordination
- Maintain blister pack profiles in Kroll
- Manage all the billing and reconciliation for all blister pack patients
- Reconcile inventory specific to compliance packaging patients
- Communicate proactively with patients, caregivers, and long-term care/retirement home staff regarding medication changes, discontinuations, and new starts
- Manage cycle-fill calendars to prevent missed or late packs




- Perform technical checks per NAPRA/OCP standards (final RPh check remains with the pharmacist)
- Maintain accurate documentation for OCP and ODB compliance

Requirements

- Previous retail, pharmacy, or fulfillment experience preferred
- Knowledge of Kroll is required
- Solid attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Certification as a pharmacy technician is mandatory

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Experience:

- Pharmacy technician: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Pharmacy Technician Licence (required)
