Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the overall financial health of the organzation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a robust background in accounting software and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our company's success. You will also be responsible for managing the office and helping in the showroom.

Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as , Sage
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
- Prepare financial reports, including month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support audit preparations by organizing relevant documentation
- Monitor and track expenses to ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations

Qualifications





- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an organization
- Proficiency in Sage (Simply) Accounting is essential. Five Years Experience with Sage
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- A recognized qualification in accounting or finance is desirable but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
