Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and compliance with safety regulations. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the maintenance department, including supervision of maintenance staff.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues.
- Support capital improvement projects and renovations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and safety standards in Ontario.
