Pastry Chef — Part-Time

Mediterraneo Handcrafted Food is looking for a Pastry Chef to lead pastry and dessert production across our locations — The Artisan’s Bazaar Café, Thompson Bistro, and our catering orders with Mediterraneo.

What you’ll do:

- Produce pastries, desserts, cakes and baked goods daily for the Artisans Bazaar Café and Thompson Bistro
- Prepare dessert and pastry items for catering orders, scaling recipes as needed
- Maintain consistent quality and presentation across all outlets
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost for pastry production
- Keep kitchen and food safety standards to code

What we’re looking for:

- Experience as a pastry chef or baker in a qualified kitchen
- Comfortable with early morning shifts




- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Food Safe certification (or willing to obtain)
- Passion for handcrafted, Mediterranean-inspired food

Schedule & Pay:

- Early morning shifts, 3–4 per week to start
- $18.75/hr during probation, rising to $20–25/hr after
- Opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the role and business needs expand
