Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Indo-Chinese Hakka dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
- Lead team management efforts by training current staff, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a positive work environment
- Ensure all food served meets quality standards and aligns with our culinary vision




- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant service within the Indo-Chinese or similar cuisine sector
- Supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment with team management responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and hygiene practices in the food industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent understanding of restaurant management principles including food service operations
- Background in hospitality or culinary arts related to Asian cuisine is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards
