Job Description Job Description Roof Truss Designer (MiTek) Location: Alberta Overview Our client is looking for a Roof Truss and Floor Designer with strong MiTek experience to join their team in Edmonton. This role focuses on designing efficient, code-compliant roof truss and floor systems for residential, multi-family, and light commercial projects.

You'll work closely with sales, production, and customers to deliver accurate designs that move seamlessly from concept to manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Design roof truss systems using MiTek software (Sapphire preferred) Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop accurate layouts Produce truss design drawings, layouts, and material take-offs Ensure designs meet applicable building codes, engineering standards, and project requirements Support the sales team with estimates, take-offs, and value engineering opportunities Communicate with builders, contractors, and internal teams to clarify design requirements Revise designs based on feedback, site conditions,
