You'll work on complex, primarily desktop-based, workflows such as appointment management, patient records, and virtual care interactions, and translate them into clear, effective solutions that drive real impact.You're a collaborative designer with a robust visual sensibility and a thoughtful approach to problem-solving. You combine visual craft with critical thinking to create intuitive and inclusive experiences that support a range of user needs and levels of digital literacy. You actively seek feedback and use it to refine your thinking, validate assumptions, and continuously improve your work.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild a deep understanding of our customers and their needsDistill complex requirements into elegant experiencesIterate design ideas through sketches, user flows, and wireframesDevelop and deliver well-documented, high-fidelity designs that align with both accessibility standards and our existing design systemCollaborate closely with the design lead and cross-functional partners in product and engineering to ensure solutions support business goals and are technically feasibleContribute to the evolution of our design system by extending existing components and improving patterns for accessibilityClearly communicate design decisions and incorporate feedback to refine ideasParticipate in design QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately and aligned with accessibility and design system standardsSupport user research efforts by helping plan and conduct usability testing, and synthesizing feedback from users and stakeholdersSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNoQualifications Expected for PositionRequired:Bachelor's degree required (additional years of work experience may be substituted)Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both mobile and desktop experiencesBackground in interaction design, graphic design, computer science, information science, human factors engineering, or related fieldsProficiency in Figma is requiredStrong understanding of user-centered design, with a focus on accessibility and experience applying WCAG standardsExperience working within or contributing to a design systemAppetite for solving complex workflow problemsStrong visual skills and a sensibility that fuses beauty with usabilityBonus: experience in healthcare or regulated domainsHourly Rate Range$45.00 to $52.00/hourPosition TypeNet NewWork Environment☐ Office ☐ Remote ☒ Hybrid (Office & Remote)At Teladoc Health Canada we thrive on difference and individuality.
