Our client is seeking a detail-oriented junior and intermediate Planners to support project planning, scheduling, and production coordination within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing project data, and ensuring work is planned efficiently from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update production schedules, work packages, and material requirements to support efficient project execution and on-time delivery.- Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to identify scheduling risks, resource constraints, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.- Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure project milestones are achieved and required resources are available.- Maintain accurate planning documentation, schedules, progress reports, and production records while ensuring compliance with established processes and quality standards.- Monitor project progress, identify issues affecting schedules or deliverables,
and resolve or escalate concerns to support successful project outcomes.- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by supporting planning process enhancements, participating in training opportunities, and developing expertise in planning systems and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.- Junior Planner: Up to 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or production control within a manufacturing or industrial workplace. Intermediate Planner: 3–5 years of progressive planning experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
experience with planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is considered an asset.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret project data, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, production, procurement, and project teams.- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: $35-42 per/hour depending on experience
