About the roleIn this role, you will architect and deliver perception systems that power intelligent robotics solutions for enterprise clients - from sensor fusion and computer vision to real-time AI pipelines running at the edge and in the cloud. You will shape technical strategy, guide cross-functional teams, and own delivery from early concept through production. Your work will directly define how clients adopt and scale autonomous systems in complex, real-world environments.ResponsibilitiesDefine and own end-to-end architecture of robotics perception systems, covering sensor selection, data pipelines, and real-time processing workflowsDesign scalable, modular perception solutions integrating computer vision, sensor fusion, AI/ML, Physical AI, and localization across edge and cloud environmentsCollaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and technology decisionsEstablish AI/ML strategies for perception, including model selection, data lifecycle management, and deployment aligned with performance requirementsIntegrate perception components into broader robotics systems — navigation, manipulation, planning — ensuring clean interfaces and interoperabilityDrive performance optimization by balancing latency, accuracy, and resource constraints in real-world and safety-critical conditionsLead engineering teams through design reviews, mentoring, and architectural standards enforcement across the full delivery lifecycleExplore emerging technologies, validate new approaches, and build reusable accelerators that strengthen the robotics consulting practiceRequirements8+ years of software development experience in C/C++ and Python, including 4+ years in lead or architect rolesHands-on expertise with AI-based robotics perception, computer vision,
