PositionSummary

- Tocoordinate, supervise and schedule the activities of the productionemployee
- Establish methods to meet workschedules and co-ordinate work activities with otherunits

Experience

- Minimum ofthree (3) year’s experience in a similar position in the foodindustry
- Excellent communicationskills
- Demonstrated problemsolving
- Leadership
- Knowledgeof Microsoft Office (Word,Excel)

Responsbilities

- Ensureproduction requirements are achieved while meeting quality, yield,efficiency and food / employee safetystandards
- Effectively motivate and directemployees by facilitating/ mentoring continuousimprovement
- Review production schedule formanpower and staffing requirements




- Resolve workproblems and recommend measures to improve productivity and productquality
- Prepare production reports in anaccurate and timely manner
- Perform / organizeemployee job training and team meetings to ensure efficient andsafe task performance
- Understand and follow allaspects of the Collective Agreement, and deal with grievances atthe primary stage
- Request and control materialsandsupplies
