JobSummary

Under the direction of the Supervisor,the Team Leader assists the Supervisor in the management of thelines and the communication of the work assignments. The TL mustshow demonstrated leadership, initiative, good attendance andrespect for all company policies and applicable legislation. Inaddition, the TL will motivate, encourage and train employees undertheirleadership.

Responsibilities

- Leadthe Production General Labourers assigned on theline.
- Ensure all guarding is in place beforestart-up.
- Follow all Health & Safetypolicies including the Harassment, Discrimination &Violence; in the Workplace Policy;

- Follow allGMPpolicies;
make team aware of them.
- Trainemployees on the line when needed.
- Readcustomer spec & date format prior to producing productsku’s. Make sure information is correct prior to producingproduct.




- Temporarily replace employees on theline as needed.
- Account for employees on theirline during an emergency evacuation.
- CompleteProduction & QA forms on paperless hourly. Must befinalized at the end of the shift.
- Communicatedirection from the Supervisor.
- Communicatehourly with Supervisor on performance & Qualityissues.
- Under the direction of the Supervisor,manager changeovers efficiently.
- Communicateany issues to the next shift / TL.
- Be an activeparticipant in the daily line meetings.
- InformSupervisor of any problems when they occurimmediately.
