Manufacturing Systems & Documentation AnalystWaterloo Region | Full-Time | ManufacturingAre you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving manufacturing processes, systems, and documentation?Our client, a respected and well-established manufacturer in the Waterloo Region, is hiring a Manufacturing Systems & Documentation Analyst to support documentation control, process improvement, production reporting, and manufacturing knowledge management.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing documentation, SOP development, document control, ERP/MRP systems, production reporting, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, product specifications, troubleshooting guides, and manufacturing process documentationManage document control activities, ensuring records remain accurate, current, and compliantMaintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and related manufacturing documentationCapture and organize operational knowledge from engineering, quality, and production teamsConvert informal or undocumented processes into clear, searchable, user-friendly documentationAnalyze and document workflows across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and support functionsSupport corrective actions, non-conformance investigations,



and quality documentationCreate training materials, onboarding guides, job aids, and process support documentationSupport manufacturing systems, reporting tools, and operational improvement initiativesCompile, validate, analyze, and report production data from ERP, MRP, and manufacturing systemsEnsure reporting accuracy and support data-driven decision-makingIdentify opportunities to improve process consistency, information flow, and operational efficiencyQualifications3+ years of experience in manufacturing systems, document control, technical documentation, quality systems, engineering support, process improvement, or a related disciplinePrevious experience working within a manufacturing environmentStrong skills in process documentation, document control, workflow analysis, and data managementExperience using ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, databases, and reporting toolsExcellent written communication skills with the ability to create transparent, concise technical documentationStrong analytical and organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detailPost-secondary education in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering Technology, Applied Science, Quality, or a related field is preferred
