What- the Role:

Our client is seeking a new Senior Analyst who will take on a variety of responsibilities including global consolidations, monthly internal financial reporting, quarterly external financial reporting (IFRS), hedging calculations, management reporting, ad hoc financial analysis, and year-end audit support (working with external Big 4 auditors). Who- the Candidate:

We are seeking an intelligent, curious,



and analytical senior accountant who takes pride in producing top quality financial reporting and who enjoys collaborating with a variety of people across various departments of a complex organization. Qualified candidates for this role will have the drive and talent to learn about the corporation’s financials inside-out, in all the countries the company operates in. Detail-orientation and an analytical mindset are paramount in this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership, are essential. Our client has a high-performance/high-reward culture, and we are seeking a Senior Accountant who can integrate well with this collaborative team.

- Accounting Designation is required: Canadian CPA or International equivalent. Designation likely achieved in 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024.
- At least 4 years, preferably 7+ years, progressive experience in complex accounting.
- Public practice training, ideally from a multi-national firm.
- Mix of experience in public practice and industry is preferred, but can be a Manager direct from public practice.
- Experience working directly in the corporate headquarters of a global public company is very beneficial.
- Excellent IFRS financial reporting skills.

The following experience is highly preferred,



but not required:

- Industry experience.
- Publicly-listed company
- Global scope.
- ERP- hands-on experience using an ERP financial system.

How Much:

Generous compensation total package commensurate with experience and education, likely in the range of $110,000 to $120,000. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will receive a performance-based bonus, excellent benefits, a generous pension plan, professional development support, and a top-notch working environment. Where:

Headquartered in Downtown Vancouver. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. Some Hybrid Flexibility- Working from the office 4 days a week during training and onboarding and during quarter-end and year-end. In the summer and/or when it’s a bit quieter on the team, can work from home 2 days/week. Over the course of an entire year, the Senior Analyst will likely work an average of 3.5 days/week from office and 1.5 days/week from home.
