Job Title:

Metal Roofer, Siding, and Exterior Finisher

Job Summary:

At Lane One Homes Ltd. We create innovation for the next generation of housing. We factory produce our steel frames and provide on site installation. We handle everything from the delivery of the unit to the final finishing touches. We are currently seeking skilled metal roofers and siders to join our team. Metal Roofer, Siders, and Exterior Finishers are responsible for the installation of weather proofing material, metal siding, and metal roofing. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

· Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit the building’s exterior, ensuring proper alignment and installation.

· Use power and hand tools to cut and install materials.

· Applying weather proof materials, such as flashing, sealants, and waterproofing membranes.

· Collaborators with other trades, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumber to coordinate work activities and be willing to assist when needed.

· Inspect damaged material and repair or replace as necessary

· Pick up materials from supplies as needed.

· Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure proper storage of materials and tools and disposal of waste.





Requirements:

· Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle

· Previous experience in metal siding install, weather proofing, and metal roofing install

· Ability to read and interpret architectural plans

· Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

· Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work tasks

· Attention to details and problem solving skills

· Ability to work well in teams as well as independently

Experience:

· Metal Work: 2 years (Required)

· Valid Fall Protection Certificate (Preferred)

Job Type:

Job Schedule:

· Monday-Friday

Salary:

· $25.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience

Working Conditions:

· Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
