Avery Human Resources is looking for reliable Production Staff to join a commercial bakery team. You will help produce high-quality baked goods while following safety, quality, and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and works well as part of a team. Location: North Etobicoke

Shifts: Day, afternoon and night shifts available

Rate: $17.60 to $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

- Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and packaging machines
- Prepare and assemble baked products following recipes and production guidelines
- Package finished products accurately and efficiently
- Keep work areas clean and follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor equipment and report or resolve minor production issues
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with inventory and record material usage as needed
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Work with the team to meet daily production goals
- Help with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Requirements





- Previous food manufacturing or processing experience is preferred
- Experience with food packaging is an asset
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
- Basic math skills for measurements, weights, and quantities
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time; lifting, bending, stretching, etc.
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
