Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cars and light trucks and takes pride in completing work accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and drivability concerns
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and general vehicle repairs
- Use diagnostic equipment, wiring diagrams, technical information, hand tools, and power tools
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate service records
- Follow manufacturer specifications and established shop procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Clearly communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations
- Work collaboratively with service advisors and other technicians




- Deliver consistently high-quality workmanship and customer service

Qualifications

- Previous experience in an automotive repair shop or dealership
- Robust diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and wiring diagrams
- Ability to use modern scan tools and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle HVAC systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s licence
- Automotive Service Technician certification or Red Seal endorsement is an asset
