Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Support Worker (Nights), on a contract basis, to provide exceptional care and support to individuals during overnight hours. Requirements and Qualifications

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months' experience in the Human Services field OR Post Secondary School Diploma in a related field and a minimum of 3 months' experience.
- Computer experience, specifically with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in a residential setting is considered a definite asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Up-to-date certificates in First Aid, C.P.R., Safe Management or C.P.I., and W.H.M.I.S.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License, Class G, with access to and use of a reliable vehicle and Third-Party Liability Insurance in the amount of two million dollars.
- Ability to meet the requirements contained within Article 12.06 of the Collective Agreement.
- Understanding of the Agency's Vision, Mission, Service, and Guiding Principles.

Key Responsibilities & Skills





- Monitor the home environment and respond to individual needs, ensuring health, safety, and well-being throughout the night.
- Provide support to individuals when required, including assistance with routines, protocols, and personal care.
- Maintain effective, open communication with individuals receiving support and coworkers to ensure continuity of care.
- Follow all Agency Policies and Procedures, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Medication Policy.
- Complete required documentation such as communication logs and individual records in a timely manner.
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations and follow established protocols.
- Remain on shift until replacement staff arrive where required and support scheduling continuity in emergencies.

Pay: $22.09 per hour
