AP Electric Contracting Corp. is a licensed Ontario electrical contractor based in the Greater GTA. Specializing in both commercial and residential electrical projects we are increasing our clientele and are looking for licensed 309As to join our team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of renovation, new construction, and maintenance projects, ensuring electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. As a Licensed Electrician, you will bring your expertise to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative electrical solutions that meet client needs and comply with all safety regulations.
Duties
- Install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and low voltage systems in both commercial and residential settings.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct inspections of existing electrical systems during renovation projects or routine maintenance to identify issues or potential hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and code requirements to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others on site.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Valid 309A Electrical License with proven experience
- Valid Ontario Drivers License
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes applicable in your region.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, low voltage wiring, and construction site safety practices.
- Experience with renovation projects involving complex wiring systems or upgrades.
- Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting electrical issues efficiently.
- Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Elevated work platform / boom and scissor lift certification
- First Aid & CPR
- Additional handyman experience or general construction skills are considered a plus.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
