Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team in Baie-D'Urf , QC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Trumpf True Laser 5030 laser cutting machines and a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes. The candidate must be fluent in French and legally authorized to work in Canada with an Open Work Permit or Permanent Resident (PR) status.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and monitor the Trumpf True Laser 5030 laser cutting machine.

- Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently.

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting and optimal production performance.

- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using measuring tools.

- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor maintenance as required.

- Monitor production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.

- Maintain accurate production records and machine logs.

- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.

- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience operating laser cutting machines.





- Experience with Trumpf True Laser 5030 preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

- Fluency in French is mandatory.

- Must possess a valid Open Work Permit or Permanent Resident (PR) status.

- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
