Line Cook (PT) @ Sawdust City

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our culinary team.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious dishes that complement our craft beers and create memorable dining experiences. If you thrive in a lively environment, enjoy food preparation and culinary creativity, and have a knack for delivering excellent food service, this is your chance to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to quality and community.

What YOU will be doing:

- Prepare ingredients, cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes
- Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep cost within forecasted range
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at workstation and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery
- Set up and clean station according to protocol




- Maintain a clean workstation area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves
- Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards
- Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- Perform additional tasks as assigned

What YOU bring to the table:

- At least 1 year of experience cooking in a restaurant, hotel, or resort is required
- Food handler certification required
- An understanding of cooking methods and procedures, and knife handling skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks with accuracy and speed
- Ability to read and follow cooking directions
- Able to remain calm, cool and collected in a fast-paced setting
- A passion and enthusiasm for craft beer and the food and beverage industry (not necessary, but a big win for us!)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Organized, adaptable and self-motivated with a “can do” attitude

Working Conditions:

- Standing, bending, stretching, and lifting and carrying are all part of the gig
- Weekday, evenings, and weekend shifts
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs
