THIS IS A NON PAID INTERNSHIP.
VENDR is a luxury wedding planning platform and vendor marketplace being built specifically for the South Asian wedding industry.
Planning a South Asian wedding often means switching between Instagram, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, Notes, Pinterest, email and multiple vendor websites. VENDR is bringing that entire experience together in one beautifully designed platform.
Couples will be able to discover and compare wedding vendors, request quotes, manage conversations, create budgets, organize guest lists, build itineraries, track tasks and plan their entire wedding from one central dashboard.
Wedding professionals will be able to showcase their work, receive qualified inquiries, manage leads, track bookings, grow referrals and operate their businesses through a lightweight vendor CRM.
VENDR is not simply another wedding directory. Our long-term goal is to become the operating system for South Asian weddings.
We are launching in Ontario before expanding across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and other major South Asian wedding markets.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative, organized and culturally aware Social Media & Content Marketing Intern to help shape VENDR’s early online presence.
This is an opportunity to join a growing startup during its pre-launch and launch stages. You will work closely with the founder to help introduce the VENDR brand, educate couples and vendors, document our journey and build an engaged community around the future of South Asian wedding planning.
The ideal candidate understands social media culture, has a strong eye for premium visual content and is excited by weddings, fashion, entrepreneurship, technology and South Asian culture.
This is not a role for generic or overly promotional social media content. VENDR should feel editorial, modern, sophisticated, warm and luxurious.
