We are seeking a motivated and skilled Siding Installer/Carpenter to join our energetic construction team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for installing various types of exterior siding and performing carpentry tasks that enhance the durability and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial buildings. Duties
- Measure, cut, and install different siding materials such as vinyl, wood, fiber cement, or composite panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete siding installations with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trimming, and finishing to support siding installation and overall project completion
- Apply caulking around seams, joints, and edges to ensure weatherproofing and a clean finish
- Lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper posture to prevent injury during installation processes
- Conduct site inspections to verify measurements, alignment, and quality standards throughout each phase of the project
Qualifications
- Proven experience with construction work, especially in siding installation or carpentry roles
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate plans into physical work on-site
- Strong knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and sealing applications
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various repair and installation tasks
- Prior experience with blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings is highly desirable
