Position Overview

The Parts Counter Person is responsible for assisting both retail customers and internal service technicians with parts inquiries, orders, and inventory needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers and technicians at the counter, by phone, and by email with parts identification, availability, and pricing
- Process parts orders, returns, and warranty claims accurately
- Maintain parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients
- Use dealership software to manage parts transactions
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of required parts




- Maintain a clean, organized parts area and follow all safety procedures

Qualifications

- Previous automotive parts counter experience (Mazda or Japanese brands preferred)
- Robust knowledge of automotive components and systems
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (Serti/Keyloop)
- Communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean driving record
