- Lead the quality engineering strategy for a new digital product
- Build automation frameworks from scratch with strong ownership of approach, tooling, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain automation suites primarily for web and API layers
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and architecture teams to define quality standards and ensure end‑to‑end test coverage.
- Build scalable frameworks for validating portfolio ingestion, smart offer mapping, business rules, and matching logic.
- Partner with developers on continuous integration, automation pipelines, and test execution optimization.
- Mentor and guide one additional QE on the team;
act as the senior technical authority within Quality Engineering.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure testability across components and services.
- Drive quality metrics, reporting, and ongoing improvements to accelerate release cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of software testing experience with strong expertise in QA automation .
- Proven track record building automation strategy and frameworks from scratch.
- Strong technical skills in:
- Rest Assured (API automation)
- Experience testing complex backend workflows, offers engines, rules engines, or portfolio‑based systems is an asset.
- Ability to think strategically while remaining hands‑on with automation execution.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, able to design solutions for new and undefined workflows.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated industries preferred.
