At Primero America, we are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide expert design and support within our mining engineering team. Your responsibilities will include producing mechanical deliverables, coordinating vendor reviews, and ensuring effective project management.

This position offers you the chance to guide project elements from initial design through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform mechanical design calculations for various systems
- Prepare engineering specifications and datasheets




- Manage vendor packages and relations for project success
- Guide CAD draftspeople in technical execution
- Review vendor bids and assist in decision-making

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Qualified Engineer (P. Eng.) designation, Ontario required
- 8–12+ years of experience in mineral processing
- Familiarity with engineering industry standards
- Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings
