Job Description
This is a regional Monday–Friday sleeper (bunk) position - drivers stay in the truck most nights during the week and return home weekends. Involves cross-border runs.
What you're responsible for:
Operate Class AZ tractor‐trailer equipment for long‐haul routes.
Perform safe and timely pickup and delivery of freight.
Conduct thorough pre‐trip, en‐route, and post‐trip inspections.
Maintain accurate e‐logs and adhere to all MTO/DOT regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding load status.
Ensure cargo is secured according to safety and company standards.
Qualifications
To join our team:
You have a valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
Valid Passport
You have experience driving 18 speedmanual transmission (required)
You have a minimum of 3years of experience as an AZ Driver
You are physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
You can perform loading and unloading activities as required
You are familiar with metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
