Bell Temple LLP is a medium size insurance defence litigation firm is currently recruiting for an intermediate tort law clerk with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: drafting correspondence to other counsel, insurance companies, clients, etc., preparing applications for mediation and arbitration, preparing pleadings, court documents, and summaries.

The successful candidate should possess the following: a certificate from the Institute of Law Clerks Ontario, strong knowledge of tort procedures and forms, is well organized and able to manage multiple assignments;
have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, have strong written and oral communication skills and work effectively in a team environment. Experience in Insurance Defence is preferred.
