Role Overview
This is a Senior GIS Systems Analyst/Developer role focused on upgrading a portfolio of business-critical GIS applications from the legacy Geocortex platform to the up-to-date VertiGIS platform. The work involves modernizing existing applications while maintaining current functionality, improving performance, enhancing accessibility, and ensuring compatibility with modern GIS technologies and enterprise standards.
Must Have:
- Experience using GIS software suites, ideally ArcGIS, VertiGIS/Geocortex, and/or FME.
- Experience with Ontario Public Sector (OPS)
Role and responsibilities.
- Provide senior technical expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a diverse range of cost-effective I⁢ solutions.
- Provide technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I⁢ solutions and applications to meet program/service goals and objectives, ensuring efficiency.
