Job Title: Project Control Officer
Location: 222 Jarvis Street, Toronto, ON /49 Place d'Armes Kingston, ON (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: 21 Months (With Possible Extension)
Client: Public Sector
Pay Rate: CAD $65-$70 per hour
Must Have:

- 7 - 10 years of experience coordinating projects.

- Experience working alongside Managers and Project Managers to provide updates, escalate issues where required, identify risks, and lead/coordinate project document deliverables
- Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs.
- Demonstrated Project Management software skills and experience (e.G., MS Project, Planview, etc.).
- Understanding of Project Management concepts (e.G., project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management).

Core Skills and Experience:

- 7 - 10 years of experience coordinating projects.
- Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintaining project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc.
- Experience working alongside Managers and Project Managers to provide updates, escalate issues where required, identify risks, and lead/coordinate project document deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience working in a qualified environment supporting multiple Project Managers and critical projects for mainframe/legacy systems.
- Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs.
- Experience scheduling meetings.




- Experience facilitating meetings.
- Experience monitoring project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository.

Project Management Skills:

- Demonstrated Project Management software skills and experience (e.G., MS Project, Planview, etc.).
- Understanding of Project Management concepts (e.G., project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management).

General skills:

- Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking experience.
- Demonstrated ability to apply strong listening skills to facilitate issue resolution.
- Effective consulting skills to engage with all stakeholders with proven track record for building strong working relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills with ability to build rapport with stakeholders and drive negotiations to a successful outcome.
- Excellent customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy to ensure client needs are managed effectively.
- A motivated, flexible, detail-oriented,



and creative team player with perseverance, excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities, and a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines.

Public Sector Experience:

- Experience working in the public sector on a mainframe/legacy system.
