About the role
The Credit team builds and scales lending products that help drive Revolut’s global growth. From backend systems to customer experiences, we combine market insight, risk expertise, and technical excellence to deliver safe, innovative solutions tailored to each market.
We’re looking for a Head of Lending to lead the strategy for our local lending business. You’ll oversee portfolio performance and the customer lifecycle to build a scalable lending business that delivers outstanding customer experiences while meeting regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing
- Developing and executing the strategy for local lending features, from product design to market launch
- Defining customer segments, pricing, credit limits, value proposition, and the lending portfolio roadmap
- Building and continuously optimizing the Canadian credit risk framework, including underwriting policies, credit policies, fraud controls, and collections processes
- Monitoring portfolio performance by analyzing approval rates, activation, utilization, delinquency, losses, and risk-adjusted returns
- Partnering with Product, Risk, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to deliver lending initiatives and product enhancements
- Collaborating with global teams to adapt Revolut's lending capabilities to the local market
- Ensuring lending operations comply with Canadian regulatory requirements, including consumer protection, anti-money laundering (AML), privacy, and credit reporting obligations
- Establishing scalable operating processes, governance,
and external partnerships to support lending growth
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience in consumer lending, credit cards, or retail banking with progressive leadership responsibility
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, STEM, or another quantitative discipline
- Proven success leading a consumer lending or credit card business with end-to-end ownership
- An excellent understanding of lending economics, underwriting, pricing, portfolio management, and collections
- Expertise in credit risk management, including credit policies, scorecards, fraud controls, and portfolio monitoring
- Knowledge of consumer lending regulations, credit bureaus, and the payments ecosystem
- Experience launching current lending products or expanding into new markets
- Solid commercial judgment with a track record of growing portfolios while delivering sustainable, risk-adjusted returns
- Impressive analytical skills with the ability to turn portfolio and customer data into business decisions
- The ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Risk, Finance, Operations, Compliance, Data Science, and Engineering
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have
- Experience launching or managing a credit card portfolio
- Experience in a high-growth fintech or digital-first bank
- Knowledge of Canadian consumer lending regulations, credit bureaus, and the payments ecosystem
- Familiarity with modern underwriting techniques, including alternative data and machine learning models
- Experience with unsecured personal loans, buy now-pay later (BNPL), overdrafts, or other consumer lending products
- Familiarity with cloud-native lending platforms and digital origination journeys
- Experience across multiple international markets
- Exposure to securitization, funding strategies, or balance sheet management
