The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a current collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.
The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement;

Responsibilities
- Assist Digital Media and Outreach Committee to extend and improve the web presence of the Department of English
- Collect, organize, update and edit information on website
- Extend and maintain Facebook page
- Research ways of extending departmental presence on social media
- Help construct and execute a digital survey
Qualifications
- Some experience designing/managing/editing websites and social media pages is preferred
- BA in English
- Superior editorial and writing skills
