The Edmonton Police Service seeks one individual in their Criminal History Unit to manage court-ordered DNA related tasks and maintain the Automated Fingerprint Identification System. The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, validation checks, and queries across various systems. Proficiency in EPROS and a keen eye for accuracy are crucial to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage administrative functions for court-ordered DNA collection
• Validate and enter data in EMUGS and AFIS databases
• Respond to inquiries from public and police personnel




• Perform modifications on existing fingerprint transactions
• Conduct searches using systems such as JOIN and ORCA
Requirements:
• Completion of grade 12 including business subjects
• At least two years of office experience
• Familiar with identification systems such as Idemia AFIS
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under time constraints with accuracy
