The Mental Health Program at Ross Memorial is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a temporary full-time position. You'll work closely within an interdisciplinary team, performing thorough crisis assessments and developing treatment plans for patients with complex mental health issues. Your prior psychiatric experience will be invaluable as you foster therapeutic relationships and provide psycho-social education to families and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments in the ED
• Develop and maintain patient care treatment plans




• Provide individual crisis support post-assessment
• Participate in team conferences and staff meetings
• Liaise with psychiatry for off-service assessments
Requirements:
• Current Ontario RN registration
• 3-5 years psychiatric experience
• Non Violent Crisis Intervention certification
• Excellent assessment and crisis intervention skills
• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation
