Major Refrigeration Ltd. is looking for a skilled HVAC Journeyperson to support our growing team focused on refrigeration service in Ontario. Engage in commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs.
In your role as HVAC Journeyperson, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and servicing refrigeration systems throughout Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara, London, Barrie, Port Elgin, or Owen Sound. You will conduct preventative maintenance and inspection tasks, requiring excellent attention to detail and communication skills. This role ensures that all work is completed in compliance with safety codes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose issues in refrigeration units and rooftop systems
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks and repairs
• Analyze HVAC/R blueprints and schematics
• Oversee tasks on commercial refrigeration systems
• Ensure adherence to company safety protocols
Requirements:
• 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic license
• At least 5 years of HVAC experience
• Solid skills in diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with gas heating and airflow
• Valid driver’s license with good record
