Position: Platform Engineer (Cloud)

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (3 days on-site)

Salary: $115,000 to $130,000 annually

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join a growing Platform Services team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive cloud modernization initiatives by building secure, scalable cloud platforms and enabling development teams through automation, Infrastructure as Code, and contemporary DevOps practices.

Your new role

As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure and platform services. You'll work closely with architecture, security, infrastructure, and application development teams to deliver secure, resilient, and well‑governed cloud solutions. From cloud migrations and platform automation to CI/CD enablement and operational excellence, you'll contribute to the modernization of enterprise technology in a highly collaborative environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise‑scale cloud transformation projects while helping establish engineering best practices and improving the reliability, security, and scalability of cloud services.

Key requirements

- 7+ years of experience in platform engineering,



cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud architecture
- Hands‑on experience with Azure or AWS (experience with both is considered an asset)
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity and access management, compute, storage, containers, monitoring, and security
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
- Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies
- Experience migrating and modernizing enterprise workloads to the cloud
- Strong understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance, and operational best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
