SEO/GEO Specialist

About the Role We are looking for an SEO/GEO Specialist who can lead organic search strategy and local search optimization for a wide range of clients, including multi-location brands and franchises. You’ll be responsible for developing technical SEO plans, on‑page optimization, content recommendations, and GEO/location‑based strategies that drive visibility, rankings, and qualified traffic.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct SEO audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis
- Develop on‑page optimization strategies (metadata, content structure, internal linking)
- Lead technical SEO improvements (site speed, indexing, schema, crawlability)
- Own local SEO/GEO strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization
- Build and manage ongoing tracking dashboards and reporting
- Collaborate with content and creative teams on SEO‑driven content planning
- Monitor algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly
- Provide explicit insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience





- 3–5+ years hands‑on SEO experience (agency experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, local search, and multi‑location optimization
- Proficiency with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Moz
- Experience building keyword strategies and content frameworks
- Ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into actionable changes

Nice to Have

- Experience in franchise marketing or multi-location SEO at scale
- Familiarity with schema markup and structured data
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot CMS

Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000
