We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst who will prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide insights into the company’s financial performance. The role supports month‑end and year‑end closing processes, financial analysis, and audit preparation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, using Excel and in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform detailed variance analysis of income statements and balance sheets to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities and communicate findings to senior management.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes by preparing and posting accurate journal entries,



including accruals, ensuring all financial data is complete, documented, and compliant with accounting principles.
- Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring alignment between general ledger and bank balances and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare GST remittance reports, ensuring accuracy and timely filing in compliance with tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and responding to auditor queries.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including accounting, finance, and other departments, to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; working towards a CPA designation is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related roles; experience in the real‑estate industry is considered an asset.




- Proficiency with financial reporting software, preferably YARDI, and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, UNIQUE, FILTER, VSTACK, IFERROR).
- Experience with data modeling, Power Pivot, or VBA is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting regulations (GAAP, IFRS), with a proven ability to prepare, review, and reconcile financial data accurately.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting complex financial data, identifying trends, resolving discrepancies, and providing actionable insights.
- Effective communicator, skilled in presenting financial information clearly and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and navigate multiple priorities in a rapid‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
