The YMCA Care and Learning Centre is seeking a compassionate Activity Leader for a temporary full-time position transitioning to part-time after August 28. You'll design activities that promote learning, guide behavior, and ensure every child experiences a sense of belonging in a supportive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver high-quality programs that meet YMCA standards
• Implement engaging activities that promote wellness and learning
• Supervise staff and volunteers while building a supportive team




• Establish relationships with families and community partners
• Ensure compliance with safety and legal requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 19 years of age with relevant experience
• Strong planning skills for inclusive activities
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities
• Emergency First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check with Vulnerable Sector Search
