The role requires a detail-oriented professional with a minimum of three years of Canadian payroll experience. You will manage payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for current hires, terminations, and changes
• Handle weekly and bi-weekly payroll as needed
• Support HR with benefits administration and payroll inquiries
• Collaborate with Project Managers for payroll data accuracy
• Prepare year-end documentation including T4 forms
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in Canadian payroll
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation necessary
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Solid grasp of Canadian payroll laws and compliance
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
