You’ll work with Administration Services and IT stakeholders to deliver a fully operational SAM solution integrated with existing ServiceNow components. Your work will improve visibility, reduce audit risk, and optimize software costs.
Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy ServiceNow SAM module, including integrations
- Define workflows and reporting requirements with stakeholders
- Establish processes for software discovery, normalization, and lifecycle management
- Integrate SAM with CMDB and procurement systems
- Implement KPIs, dashboards, and compliance tracking
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer for internal teams
- Document SAM processes and workflows
- Support post-go-live transition and internal ownership
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow SAM
- Solid understanding of ITAM and SAM principles
- Experience with SCCM, Intune integrations
- Familiarity with license models and compliance
- ServiceNow certifications (SAM preferred)
Nice-to-Have
- SaaS license management experience
- Knowledge of vendor-specific modules (Microsoft, SUSE, RedHat, Oracle)
- Ability to integrate SAM with other ServiceNow modules
- Experience with automated workflows for reclamation and alerts
