Join Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Tenant Support Worker in Carr's Place. This role involves providing critical support and fostering independence among individuals facing housing challenges through tailored assistance.
As a Tenant Support Worker, you will report to the Site Manager, providing support services to adults with low income. Your duties will include assisting tenants through crisis situations, managing their basic needs, and coordinating long-term support. The role requires attention to detail and consistent engagement with residents to help them achieve a healthier living arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tenant intakes and establish service plans
• Identify and address tenant challenges
• Ensure oversight of medication and financial needs
• Keep accurate records and statistical data
• Collaborate with practicum students and volunteers
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service
• Two years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Class 5 BC Drivers’ License if needed
• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance
• OFA 1 First Aid Certificate if required
