You will integrate data between applications that share common data elements to enable integrated business processes (e.G., integrating Salesforce and an ERP system). MuleSoft Architects are responsible for setting the overall technical direction of solutions implemented with MuleSoft. They have a breadth of technical knowledge and experience, and an in-depth knowledge of MuleSoft (Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, Design Center, API Manager, Exchange, Connectors).What You’ll DoWork with Engineers to scope, design, and build well-designed integration solutionsLead or participate in technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with client business objectivesDevelop, test, and document integration solutions and data migration elements of business applications in the CRM, ERP,
and/or HCM domainsProvide detailed estimates and work breakdown structure for projects and proposalsLead the technical direction of MuleSoft API and Integration projectsCreate and own the architecture for MuleSoft API and Integration projectsWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience10+ years prior experience developing solutions on integration platforms, preferably MuleSoft, or the following: Boomi, Informatica, TIBCO, Software AG, CastIron, Jitterbit, or similar productsExperience with API Management platforms such as MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong or API Connect is a plusExperience explaining the benefits of various application integration patternsAbility to program in Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, SQLFamiliarity with cloud-based and on-premise enterprise applications such as: NetSuite, SAP, Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Dynamics AX/CRM, Workday, etc.Experience setting up CI/CD PipelineExperience with API Testing methodologiesExperience with API-Led 3-tier architecturesUnderstanding of Webservices standards and technologies such as: WS*, JSON, REST, GraphQL etc.Understanding of Security standards and mechanisms such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, Basic Authentication and LDAPUnderstanding of structured and/or unstructured databases and data models like MS SQL, My SQL, Postgres, Mongo DB, Hadoop, etc.Experience in delivering real-time, event-driven, and batch integration solutionsBackground in API design, application architecture, design, and object modelingStrong understanding of cloud computing and micro-services architecturesStrong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environmentDemonstrated skills in helping negotiate priorities and resolving conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, product management,
and engineering)Knowledge of QA processes and test-driven developmentFamiliarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as ScrumExperience defining API policies or API monetization strategies is a plusA background in large integration projects with large and multi-sourced data sets is a definite assetHybrid/In OfficeWe are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements.CompensationSlalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $118,000 to $150,000. In addition, there is potential for a 12% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
